February 11, 2004:
"Abeba Alone", a photograph by Shaleece Haas, is named Second Place in the 2003 Gordon Parks Photography Competition. Ms. Haas will be awarded $500 and her photograph will tour the country with the judges' other selections until the end of 2004.

August 29, 2003:
In conjunction with her fall classes (see below), Shaleece will be giving a talk entitled Family Photography: From Snapshot to Heirloom on Tuesday, September 16th, 7-9 pm, at the JCC in Manhattan.

August 1, 2003:
Shaleece will be teaching two new classes this fall ... Preserving the Present: Using Photography to Tell Your Family's Story at NYU, and Documentary Photography at The JCC in Manhattan. Both classes start in October 2003.

February 3, 2003:
